Put Momo and Chi together, and you get Mochi.
MochiLab is a small creative studio based in Vancouver, Canada. It was created by Momo, with Chi beside her throughout the journey.
Momo is the imagination behind MochiLab. She is always exploring new ideas, experimenting with materials, and thinking about what she could create next. Her creativity rarely stays still.
Chi is the steady presence beside her. When Momo’s thoughts become crowded or uncertain, Chi brings calm and helps her find her direction again.
Momo begins with the idea. Chi helps her carry it through.
Making Something of Our Own
MochiLab began with Momo’s wish to create something of her own—products shaped by her ideas, choices, and way of seeing things.
Decoden became the starting point because it offers so much room to experiment. Colours, textures, charms, and character figures can be arranged in countless ways, allowing each piece to develop its own personality.
Every MochiLab case is designed and handmade by Momo in Vancouver. From the colour palette to the placement of each detail, every decision is made as part of the overall design.
Still Experimenting
MochiLab is still a very small studio, but Momo’s collection of ideas is anything but small.
She is continually learning, refining her techniques, exploring new materials, and improving the way each piece is designed and made. Decoden phone cases are where MochiLab begins, but the Lab was never meant to be limited to one material or one type of product.
Not every experiment becomes a finished piece, but every one helps shape what MochiLab becomes next.
